Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ItsUporDown (“the Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Purpose & Permitted Use

ItsUporDown provides automated, on-demand diagnostic availability testing for publicly accessible web servers. The service is designed for personal, educational, and operational troubleshooting purposes.

You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree NOT to:

• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to submit high-frequency concurrent probe requests.
• Use the service to participate in, initiate, or amplify Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks against third-party web properties.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent probe rate-limiting or security controls.
• Submit malicious URLs designed to exploit or compromise server infrastructure.

3. Accuracy of Diagnostic Probes & Disclaimer

Availability probes generated by ItsUporDown represent point-in-time network measurements conducted from specific cloud edge nodes. While we utilize modern HTTP/HTTPS and DNS probe mechanics, we do not guarantee 100% infallible accuracy.

Certain third-party web properties utilize Geo-IP blocking, strict Cloudflare/Akamai bot detection, or local firewall policies that may yield differing results from your specific geographical location. ItsUporDown is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.

4. Third-Party Trademarks & Domains

All brand names, service marks, logos, and domain names queried or displayed in sample presets (such as Google, GitHub, Cloudflare, Wikipedia, or Reddit) are the registered property of their respective owners.

Reference to any specific company, brand, or service does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with ItsUporDown.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ItsUporDown, its operators, or hosting affiliates be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the information provided on this platform.

6. Contact & Violations

If you have questions about these terms or wish to report suspected misuse of our edge probing infrastructure, please submit a report through our Contact Form.
